One app for your whole media server

Movies, shows, music, subtitles and requests. Together in one app you run on your own server.

Keep the library. Lose the juggling.

Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, Bazarr, Prowlarr and Seerr each do their job well. The rough part comes between them.

  • Several connections.Indexers, download apps and watching apps all have to stay connected.
  • Keep your existing library.Scan the media folders you already have. Add your movies and shows without downloading them again.
  • A build you can inspect. The board below shows what works, what is being tested and what comes later.

What it does

Planned and partly built. The progress below shows where each part stands. Nothing is released yet.

Movies. Shows. Music. A 10-second concept film, with no sound. The app is still in progress.

My Library

Movies stay together.HD and 4K versions live under one title.

Shows keep their shape.Seasons and episodes stay in order.

Music gets a real library.Artists, albums and tracks belong together.

One title. Every version.

  • Add an indexer once. Movies, shows and music all use it.
  • Keep HD and 4K of the same movie together.
  • Bring your library with you. HolyArrs scans the folders you already have.
  • Planned: keep HD and 4K of the same show too.

Know what’s next. Catch what gets stuck.

  • Stalled downloads are noticed and replaced.
  • A calendar of what's coming, with a feed for your phone's calendar.
  • Planned and partly built: episodes aren't grabbed before they air, and fake or dangerous files are turned down.

Works with what you run

  • Torrents and Usenet, through the download clients you run on your server.
  • First-release support: qBittorrent and SABnzbd. More clients can follow through the adapter system.
  • Jellyfin or Plex for watching. Emby is planned.

Your library. Your metadata choices.

Pick your metadata sources in Settings, with preferences per movie, show or collection. The planned service brings together TMDB, TVDB and TVMaze. Choices depend on the media type; TVDB requires your own key.

Behind the numbers

On October 12, 2026, I compared the same live queue and 10,000-poster grid built in Svelte 5 and React 19 on one Windows PC. The Svelte version shipped about 25 KB of compressed JavaScript; React shipped 77 KB. That’s roughly 68% less. The recorded first-render time was about half as long.

These are prototype results, not a speed comparison with Sonarr or a benchmark of the finished HolyArrs app.

For the server, the goals are under 100 MB of RAM at idle, a 250 MB ceiling, and support for a box with 1 GB of RAM. Those remain targets until measured.

> Phone. Tablet. Laptop.

Set things up at your desk. Browse your library on the sofa. Check downloads from your phone. The interface is being designed for touch, mouse and keyboard, with live progress updates.

> Security gets tested, too.

Open source, with security built into the release plan: sign-in and permission checks, encrypted stored credentials, and tests for bad input, heavy loads and interrupted jobs. Findings and fixes stay on the build board.
